 The Model 5000-TLC
permanent concrete and exposed aggregate
combination litter container and ash-butt
receptacle is completely steel reinforced
and weighs 520 pounds which prevents
unauthorized moving of the unit. There
are no moveable parts to break or to
rust, thus eliminating the cost of
repairs . . . maintenance . . . and
periodic replacement.
The overall dimensions of the concrete
component are 24" x 24" x
31". Overall height of the complete
unit is 44". The exposed aggregate
surface is thoroughly coated with two
applications of a high-solid acrylic
curing, sealing and hardening compound
which retards surface porosity and which
is UV resistant.
The hooded lid is constructed of UV
retardant, high impact-resistant rotary
molded polyethylene. An ash-butt
receptacle is permanently fixed in the
top of the lid which provides
"TLC-total litter control".
Select one access opening, or two
opposing access openings (6" x
12") with or without spring-hinged
doors. It is attached with a plated chain
that is bolted into a "cast in"
fitting in the concrete wall.
The 40 gallon capacity liner is tough
rotary molded polyethylene. It is
designed with a "rocker shaped"
bottom to discourage theft, five
"weep-holes" to allow for
drainage, a flange handle which
encompasses the top and a continuous
fingertip indentation located at the
bottom for easy lift-out servicing.
